This week, we sent our featured rider Rose to test out the Caldene Elena Softshell Jacket.
This Caldene jacket is constructed from a 3 layer water resistant fabric which will keep you warm and dry despite only wearing a thin layer. Its warmth without the bulk! The fitted nature of the product gives a more tailored, feminine fit. Also the sleeves are made to allow for a wider range of movement.
Rose says:
I loved this jacket!!! It was extremely smart, especially with the rose gold zip. I wore it to lessons, out hacking and walking courses. The fabric was lovely and soft with a bit of stretch in it, making it very comfortable and not at all restrictive when riding. It was also great as an extra layer rather than wearing a jumper. It’s a nice lightweight jacket which kept me warm. The only bad thing I can say about the jacket is that it was not true to size. I usually wear a size 10 but as the jacket is fitted to be safe I went for a size 12. I think I should have got a size 14! The fit was a little more snug than it should have been but having said that still comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this product, I really did love it, I would just say be aware of it not being true to size.
