This fly rug features the Vamoose technology. This fabric is treated with Permethrin, a chemical extracted from the Chrysanthemum flower which is proven to be a natural insecticide. It repels mosquitos, ants, ticks, flies and midges. The treatment is long-lasting on the fabric and will not be washed out or come out when the horse sweats.
The Amigo Bug Buster Vamoose Fly Rug is designed to combat the bugs this summer. This fly rugs offer superb UV protection and maximum breathability as well as protecting your horse against the flies and biting insects.
The rug is made from a knitted polyester which is soft and absorbent. A great feature to this rug is that it’s compatible with the waterproof fly rug liner should you wish to make this fly rug waterproof.
Other features to the fly rugs are: classic front closure, leg arches, a belly flap fastened with 3 surcingles, supersized tail flap and shine-enhancing shoulder and mane protection.
